- Planners are less aware of this tool, and therefore it may require a small explanation; The main purpose of this site is for Māori landowners/ managers across New Zealand, to assess characteristics for the sites and therefore constraints and possibilities. It visually demonstrates recent environmental, land, property, and legal data.

UoA School of Population Health- Interactive maps of deprivation in New Zealand
- This mapping tool shows the level of deprivation in New Zealand using the Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD). This index considers 7 domains of deprivation, which can be represented next to the map of your chosen locality. Two types of maps can be accessed; single and double. The ‘single map’ shows only one map, while the ‘double map’ allows you to compare two areas.
