If you are planning on purchasing a device and unsure about what specifications are required, here are some information about recommended BYOD computers requirements for both Bachelor of Design/Design conjoint students and Architecture and Planning students.

• Ports: one USB 3.0 port
• Battery life: 6-8 hours from one charge
• Mouse (may be wireless)
• Preferably light and robust 
• A protective carrying case
