ENGINEER
As you may know we have engineers available to assist you with your design studio project, this semester we are proud to have James McAllister and John Hawkins.
There are two ways to book an appointment with an engineer:
1: Design teaching staff can now “book” James or John to spend a session or series of sessions with the studio group. The intention is that the session will be focused on the particular structural, technical, environmental and/or material concerns of the studio and your projects.
2: All student (including MArch prof thesis students) are able to book 15 minute 1:1 sessions with the engineers to take place at the round table in the level 4 studio. To do this you MUST book online through the OML website – there will be no paper sign up sheet.
We are now using Google Calender for Engineer Bookings, please log in using your university email to make a booking.
Students will receive a confirmation email after they have made a booking.
Note: Online bookings only apply for the next day onward. You will need to speak to the engineer for same day bookings which will be at their discretion.
