Critical Edge 2022 Workshops

Tuesday 30 August to Friday 2 SeptemberCritical Edge provides a space for Masters and Doctoral students to share ideas and gain new practical tools for their research.

Organised by Dr Farzaneh Haghighi and PhD candidate Leo Baldwin-Ramult at the Faculty of Creative Arts and Industries, various academic staff, graduates and guest specialists will offer postgraduate students a series of presentations and workshops.

From Tuesday 30 August to Friday 2 September, Critical Edge 2022 includes a 3-day online series of presentations and workshops via Zoom, followed by a 3-hour in-person writing retreat at the City Campus.

Following topics will be covered: Practice-led methodologies, Transdisciplinary research, Mātauranga Māori, Research funding, Thesis writing, Peer review, Career planning.

Zoom presentations and workshops are open to all University of Auckland Masters and Doctoral students.

The writing retreat is for Creative Arts and Industries Masters and Doctoral students and registration is required due to limited spaces available.
